Hello everyone,
I have an HP Spectre with the following configuration:
- Product Number: 7Q878EA#ABF
- Serial Number: [personal info removed]
- Processor: Intel Core i7
- RAM: 32 GB
- Storage: 2 TB SSD
- Operating System: Windows 11
- Available Ports:
- USB-C
- USB-A
I am primarily engaged in bioinformatics work, specifically for running molecular dynamics simulations. To improve my laptop's performance for these compute-intensive tasks, I am considering adding an eGPU.
I am seeking recommendations for the best eGPU enclosures compatible with my setup, as well as graphics cards that would provide a good balance of computational power and stability for complex simulations in bioinformatics.
Thank you in advance for your advice and recommendations.
Best regards,
