HP Pavilion - 14-ce3007ne
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello HP community, I have an HP Pavilion - 14 - ce3007ne laptop/notebook on which I play many games. I used to play the games without any problem but now I face lagspikes for example if I play gta or minecraft my game suddenly stutters very hard. It goes from 60 fps to 1-5fps or so and then it goes back to 60fps for a few seconds. Some might say I dont meet system requirements for gta or so but this happens in every game. I meet the requirements of minecraft and my game still stutters. When I play a game the cpu usage will be somewhere near 85% but when I get a sudden frame drop in game the cpu usage goes down to 15% or so. Please help me fix this

Hello @AliiMehdi

Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... I would like to help you.

Let me check your basic system configuration before we focus on the "performance" problem ...

(1) Run    msinfo32

- Select <System Summary>:

--->>> Copy/screenshot/paste following key/value pairs:

OS Name

Version

System Model

System SKU

( equals HP product number (p/n) )

Processor

BIOS Version/Date

(2) Start Windows <Device Manager>

- Expand <Other devices> ? (Those entries are for hardware for which Windows has not loaded a suitable driver)

- Expand <Display adapters>

- Expand <Network adapters>

- Expand <Sound, video and game controllers>

--->>> Send screenshot

(3Please report your results

Hello @AliiMehdi

Since when does this performance problem occur ? We should check the Windows update history.

Please send screenshot of <Windows update history>

When I got this laptop I used to still experience stutters (2020) but I did not seek for help during 2020. I went to a Microsoft (I did not  know forums were a thing back then) community forum and the issue was fixed but now the steps they mentioned dont work. (They mostly said about updating the BIOS driver etc) I went to microsoft since i thought it was a windows issue. Here is the update historySettings 25-10-2022 08_22_07 PM.png
