Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to know if my laptop is suitable for coming Windows 11 upgrade if I set the TPM function and secure boot in bios.

 

Product number: 1AC91PA#AKL  purchased in 2016, now 5 years old.

Hi:

 

Below is the link to the product specs for your notebook.

 

HP Pavilion - 15-au639tx Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support

 

Under the current Microsoft W11 processor requirements, the Intel® Core™ i7-7500U processor does not meet the requirements.

 

Currently only the Intel 8th gen core processors and newer are planned to be supported, but this may change from what I have read--maybe down to the Intel 6th gen core processors.

 

A TPM 2.0 security device is also a requirement.

 

If your notebook has such a device, you would find it listed as shown in the screenshot below...
