Could you please advise if my laptop would be compatible with the addition of two 8GB RAM sticks (totaling 16GB of RAM), given its current configuration with a HP 8707 37.21 motherboard and Ryzen 7 4700u processor? Presently, it is equipped with two 4GB RAM sticks (8GB of RAM in total).
I found specifications for a laptop with a similar motherboard online, but mine is older. Given that, is it reasonable to assume that my motherboard, which is also an HP 8707 model, supports 16GB of RAM? The comparable laptop has the following specs:
Computer Type: Laptop
GPU: Integrated
CPU: RYZEN 5 4500U
Motherboard: HP 8707 (37.19)
RAM: 16GB
