Product: HP Notebook - 14-Dk0028wm
Microsoft Windows 11

I have seen where this Notebook can be upgraded by replacing the SSD to one with a higher capacity, but can a secondary SSD be added? The default drive is 128GB which is inadequate for my needs - but I do not want to interfere with my Windows installation as it currently exists (plus the idea of adding a 1TB SSD sounds really good to me). Is this doable?

Hi:

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

Maintenance and Service Guide HP 14 Laptop PC

There is only one M.2 slot for a SSD, so if you need more storage, you will need to replace the 128 GB M.2 SSD with one having a greater storage capacity.

The specs for your notebook do not indicate what type of M.2 SSD HP installed, but according to the manual, it can support a NVMe SSD.

While there is an option to add a 2.5" drive, most likely the parts are not there to add one.
