Not all USB-C ports are the same, what is your 14-dw1xxx ? It should have same ports as the following machine

                   HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 14-dw1025nr

It has 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 10Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge) port which supports USB Power Delivery therefore you can use a compatible USB-C charger with wattage rating 45W or more to charge your machine.

Regards.

hello, thank you for exhausting me, the guide to find the serial number was very useful, my hp model is HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 14-dw1019nl i went to the product page> product information> prodcut specification, and found this Immagine 2022-10-16 130945.png

can you confirm that I have USB-C Power Delivery on my machine, and that I can charge the computer through a 45W or higher charger (up to 90W)? if i attach an adapter can i use DisplayPort ™ 1.4 and charge the pc at the same time?

thank you very much for your time and for your kindness in responding.

Yes but it only has 1 port therefore your adapter must support both at the same time. In my case, I am using  HP USB-C G5 dock for my machines

  • Machine 1 which is an HP Elitbook 840 G5: True single cable setup,
  • Machine 2: which is a Dell 13-7391: the dock charges, I can power machine w/o to open the lid, external monitors ... .... but it does not do 1 thing: turn off machine also turn off the dock.

Regards
