HP Laptop - 15t-dy200 Touch
Microsoft Windows 11

I purchased a new HP Laptop - 15t-dy200 with touch. I am trying to find a way to swap out the Fn and Ctrl keys. Looks like the laptop is having an 87FE motherboard and has the latest BIOS installed. In the BIOS, I found a way to toggle the functionality of the Fn key and top Function keys but I am not able to swap Ctrl and Fn keys.

This is very critical in terms of productivity. I tried Microsoft's PowerToys, but the Keyboard manager in PowerToys does not detect the press of the Fn key. Therefore, I think this is something limited to the hardware of the laptop, I think only BIOS should be able to fix this.

Kindly suggest what to do...

Hi@WinnieThePooh01,

Thanks for engaging in the HP support community! This is a wonderful location to converse with the community, get assistance and find tips!

Its hardware restrictions on the consumer models, unfortunately, there are no options to change settings on the BIOS simulator.

Hope that answers your question and you have a great day!
