Spectre 360 Convertible

I bought the Spectre when it was a fairly new release and I have recently started to notice that it no longer sits evenly on the desk, it appears to have a bulge underneath and on the keyboard to the right of centre. I suspect this is a swollen battery? Is there anything that can be done and is it safe?
