Hi! I have a warped/expanded battery on my HP Spectre x360 that has pushed out the touchpad. It's been this way for a couple of years but only recently has it gotten worse. I just figured I had jostled it or done something to push it out of alignment but after reading these threads I realized that the battery has exploded.
I have ordered a replacement battery and was considering replacing it myself (I have a bit of hardware replacement experience) but my question is this: Is it likely that the touchpad is also warped... or once I remove and replace the battery it should go back in place/lay flat?
If replacing the battery is going to require additional adjustments I might take it to a PC person but thought I'd check here to see if replacing the battery will better align the touchpad. The bottom part of the touchpad (closest to me) has been raised and the back part of hte touchpad (near monitor) has been pushed down.
Thanks in advance for your assistance!
