Swollen battery

My battery got swollen. I guess that is because my laptop overheats to almost 100 Celsius degree, while OK is no more than 60.

As I understood the battery model that suits my laptop is SR04XL.

Can I get another battery for my laptop or some variant so that it won't swell?

Also my laptop refuses to boot in case of complete battery removal.

If I try to insert the charging cable — the LED indicator lightens with orange colour within 2 seconds.

Should I get another AC adapter or it's just the laptop problem?

I will probably buy it by myself, I need just some variants/names.

Thank you for the guide, but I completely understand all written in it.
I'm interested in whether there are there better alternatives, maybe another battery (with 3 accumulators instead of 4)
