HP Laptop - 15-di0001tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have HP Laptop - 15-di0001tx and windows 10 64 bit version 21H2, my touchpad is not working and I can't see touchpad driver anywhere under mice and other pointing devices in device manager (even after enabling 'show hidden drivers' option).
It had Synaptics SMbus touchpad driver before but now its not showing anywhere and I am unable to find the correct driver, someone help me out please.

I followed the given steps.

It was not working before but then I turned off my device and pressed power button for 30 seconds and then turned it back on.

My touchpad is working now.

(1) Locate downloaded file sp96547.exe

- Extract exe file using 7-zip

- Locate folder sp96547\1_TP

- Right click -> install all .INF files

SynPD.inf
SynRMIHID.inf
SynSmbDrv.inf
SynTPFHID.inf

 

(2) Reboot

(3) Check Windows <device manager> and test touchpad

(4) Please report your results
