I am trying to update my laptop to the newest Windows 10 update and my computer is telling me to contact my PC Manufacturer to update the system BIOS. My product warranty is expired so I can not ask HP for help. I just need to find out how to update the system BIOS so I can finally update the newest version of Windows 10 and use my computer at its finest.

Newest is F.35 from August 2021. Download here.

Make sure the computer is plugged in with a charged battery. Download and run the app. Be patient. Reboot once maybe twice per the app and your BIOS are updated. Let us know if there are questions

hi
be careful, @Ashleylashell89 because the update of the bios, is not without risk either, it is perhaps important to specify it
The computer, if it misses, can become unusable, and recover the bios, and sometimes very complicated, or impossible
Your computer, should therefore be this one, it is original with windows 10
15-ch011dx Product Specifications
How is this warning, at what time ...
I'm asking this because I upgraded my original windows 7 computer to all available versions of windows 10.
And at no time did I need to update the bios!
Maybe there's a reason here, but I just find it curious.
