The Battery Test result states that I have no battery. The original HP battery is installed. Hardware diagnostics says my AC power adapter is not connected and I verified that it is connected. My system keeps crashing at random intervals.
Do these test results indicate that I Have a defective power connector cable?
Thanks

The battery has likely reached its end of service life. It is roughly about four years or thereabouts in service.

If you are able to boot to Windows your power adapter is most likely OK.
You can invoke the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI utility that was installed at the factory.
Power on and immediately tap the F2 key to invoke the Diagnostics utility.
Click on Component tests
Run the Power test to verify that the power adapter is ok.
