HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop - 17-cd1014na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a 4 year old HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop - 17-cd1014n laptop with a 500 GB SSD system disk and a 1TB Data disk. The system disk is a Samsung MZVLB512HBJQ.

I would like to upgrade this to 1 TB or even 2 TB but is it worth it, or should I just replace the computer?

Many thanks for your thoughts and advice

Hi:

If you are happy with the notebook, and it is in good condition, and just want more storage, according to the Crucial memory report you can go up to a 4 TB NVMe SSD.

HP offered NVMe SSD's up to 1 TB in the model series according to chapter 1 of the service manual, but that is just what they offered, not the maximum capacity supported.
