I looking to upgrade the memory of my laptop to better fit my workflow.

I currently have 256 GB nvme sdd that it came with it  along with built in 4 GB system memory . I have Windows 10 Pro 64bit installed.

What im looking to do/install:

What I have questions about (in no particular order):

  1. Will these options work in my system
  2. How would I transfer OS and files to new drive
  3. Where to find the HDD bracket and cable
  4. What system(s) CPU coolers are compatible

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

After reading your post, I did go through the Product specifications of your product and found that you have 256 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD hard drive installed on the PC.
See the below table on Memory and storage:

Click here: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05527167 to know more about the memory upgrade. ( refer to Chapter 1 Product description )

To get the answer to this question, you can upgrade 512-GB, 2280 M.2, PCIe-3×4, SuperSpeed (SS), Non-Volatile Memory Express (NVMe) solid-state drive with triple-level cell (TLC) refer to the dual storage from the above link.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
