Product: HP ENVY x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15-ew0000 (549V6AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I have a 16GB kit of Crucial 3200 MHz memory (8GBx2), the maximum amount of memory supported by this computer is 16GB. There is no reason that these modules shouldn't be supported, so the issue is with the BIOS. Software reports that the system thinks it still has Samsung memory installed.

 

Installing only one stick causes the system to think only one stick of Samsung memory is installed, instead of 8GB showing only 4GB shows.
