Hi Team,
Can anyone advise what are the maximum hardware I can upgrade for my HP pavilion gaming laptop. Like, does it support 2 TB SSD + 2 TB HDD together? Also Can I upgrade RAM 32 GB + 32 GB DDR 4 in two slots? Also how much capacity I can increase for Graphix card, sound card? Is there any possibility to upgrade batter capacity to a higher capacity in longer life? Also does it support any next level hardware upgrade or replacement so that the power of utilization can be enhanced from its existing strength. Please do let me know what all other hardware and associated accessories I can upgrade as I am looking to use this for a gaming as well as big data handling some wide server based application installed activities.
please guide ASAP
regards,
Tanuj B

Here is the Service Manual which I think you will find useful:
Upgrading the CPU, video card and sound card is just not going to make sense as that requires replacement of the motherboard. All those components are soldered on. A standalone replacement motherboard will cost like 40% of the original price of the laptop and unless you can do it yourself, the labor will also be expensive. Any upgrade of the motherboard would just give you a faster version of the same generation of hardware. There will be no "next level" in other words, only an incremental improvement. Max memory will be 32 gigs of DDR4-2666 (a pair of 16 gb modules) and storage can be both a 2.5 inch hard drive or SSD (I believe you have a mechanical 2.5 inch HDD right now) and also an M.2 2280 form factor NVME SSD. Your best single upgrade would be to install an NVME M.2 SSD and run Windows from it. Gaming improvement would be negligible, no added FPS, but overall Windows performance is night and day improvement over a spinning hard drive. There is no optional bigger better battery.
Your aspirations are admirable but this laptop is just not a viable platform for "gaming as well as big data handling some wide server based application installed activities". I suggest you build a custom desktop rig instead.
