My HP AB-251nl notebook is ok. But the touchpad is a problem to use. In particular, they did not leave the left / right mouse button. It's completely flat. Now, it's bestiality to use. In particular, the right button is underground, random. One moment is ok (hard to use) but KO almost always. the question is: can you replace the touchpad with another HP type that has buttons like a mouse? Thanks so much.

@portatilenx8220, It's great to hear from you again.
I appreciate your efforts for writing back to us.
As you needed to know how to install the memory on your laptop.
To know what is maximum memory size supported on your laptop try the steps mentioned below.
1.In Windows, search for and open HP Support Assistant.
2.In HP Support Assistant, under Learn click Product information.
3.See the System memory section under Specifications for details about the memory that is currently installed.
4.To find the total amount of memory that can be added, subtract the amount of memory currently in the computer from the maximum amount of memory the computer can hold. To see the maximum memory the computer can hold, refer to Finding memory information for your computer model.
5.To find the amount of memory per slot, divide the maximum amount of memory that the computer can hold by the number of memory slots on the motherboard. Usually, this is the maximum amount for each memory socket. For example, if the computer is capable of holding a maximum of 4096 MB (4 GB) of memory and the motherboard has four memory slots, install 1 GB (or less) per slot.
Refer this document to know more information about upgrading the memory.
Try the steps recommended below to remove the bottom cover.
1. Position the computer upside down with the front towards you.
2. Remove the two Phillips PM2.5×12.0 screws (1) that secure the hinge covers to the computer, and then
lift the covers oƫ the computer (2).
3. Remove the two Phillips PM2.0×2.0 screws from the optical drive bay (1).
4. Remove the six Phillips PM2.5×6.5 screws from near the battery bay (2).
5. Position the computer upside down.
To avoid the hard drive falling out of the computer and getting damaged, be sure the
computer is upside-down when removing the bottom cover.
6. Remove the two screw covers (1) and nine Phillips PM2.5×6.5 screws (2) that secure the top cover to the
computer.
7. Use a non-marking tool (3) to disengage the bottom cover from the computer. You will have work
around the seams on all sides of the computer.
To avoid damaging the cover, do not pry the cover near the optical drive bay.
8. Remove the bottom cover (4).
Refer the laptop maintenance and service guide for more information.
Note: Refer page 47 for more information.

Hey there! @portatilenx8220, Thank you for joining the HP Forums!
I understand you have issues using the touchpad buttons on your laptop.
Don't worry I'd like to help you out.
Did you make any software or hardware changes on your laptop?
As you mentioned the touchpad scrolling has stopped functioning on your laptop.
Try the steps recommended below.
Adjust the Touchpad delay settings to reduce accidental touches. To adjust the delay settings:
1.From the Start screen, type touchpad to open the Search charm, and select Mouse and touchpad settings from the search results.
2.Click to open the menu under Touchpad.
3.Select a longer delay to reduce the likelihood of accidental cursor jumps and clicks
4.If problems continue, reduce TouchPad sensitivity. Use the information included in the TouchPad or ClickPad Sensitivity in Windows 8 section in this document to reduce Touchpad sensitivity.
If the issue still persists try to uninstall the touchpad drivers from device manager and install touchpad drivers using HP recovery manager and check if it helps.
Refer this article to know how to restore drivers using HP recovery manager.
Also, update the BIOS and touchpad drivers using HP support assistant if the issue persists.
Refer this article to know more information about using HP support assistant.
If the issue still persists refer this document to further troubleshoot touchpad issues with your PC.

@portatilenx8220, It's great to hear from you again.
Thanks for writing back to us.
As you needed to know if you can add additional 8GB RAM on your PC.
I have checked the specifications of your PC and the maximum memory supported on your PC is 16GB.
So you can add another 8GB memory (RAM) on your PC to make it 16GB.
Please find the part number of memory listed below.
Memory module (DDR3L-1600):
8-GB 693374-005
4 GB 691740-005
2 GB 691739-005
You can purchase the part from HP parts store using this link.
Also, refer the laptop maintenance and service guide for more information.
Note: Refer page 55 for more information.

The Windows 64 operating system accepts 32gb of memory. But that I already knew. What I ask is how to physically install a new bundle of 8 GB memory. Do you need to remove 15 screws? And where is the connector physically to add RAM?
