CaN ELITE BOOK G3 BE USED TO UPGRADE TO TPM 2.0

HP Recommended

Take a moment and search for elite book G3 in Google.

What do you notice that is odd?

You didn't identify your notebook, but I can tell you that the answer is no.

The TPM module is a chip that is located on the system board and it is not upgradeable or something that can be updated. It is soldered onto the system board and integrated into the chipset.

I stand corrected. I did not realize that it could be handled with a firmware update. Thanks @Paul_Tikkanen

Hi, @pschaum

If your Elitebook G3 is one of those listed at the link below, you can do a firmware upgrade from TPM v1.2 to TPM v2.0.
