All we need is an update for the firmware. Already contacted activision and they told me this is a manufacturer problem. All the other companies already give an update to get the 3.92.5.5 but we are stuck in the 3.92.0.5. Please help us with this issue with just a simple update

Hi  @papilltm,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

I completely understand how  it must feel to be stuck on an older firmware version.

To help us narrow this down, could you please share:

The exact HP device model you’re using (for example, HP Pavilion 15, HP EliteBook, etc.)

Whether you’ve already checked for updates via HP Support Assistant .

In the meantime, here are a few steps you can try:

  1. Run HP Support Assistant → Open the app, go to Updates, and check if a TPM firmware update is listed.
  2. Check BIOS/UEFI settings → Restart your PC, press Esc or F10 to enter BIOS, and look under Security → TPM to confirm the current version.
  3. Windows Update → Sometimes TPM updates are bundled with security patches. Make sure your system is fully updated.

Once I have your model details, I can check and confirm if the update is available for your device.

I hope this helps.

I'm an HP Employee.

Hi @papilltm,

Thank you for sharing the detail that your device is an HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01. Since this series includes multiple configurations, I’ll need the exact product number (for example, TG01-0xxx, TG01-1xxx, etc.) to confirm the correct  firmware update availability for your unit. You can usually find the product number on a label at the back of the tower or by pressing Fn + Esc on your keyboard to open the HP System Information window.

Also kindly share the windows OS and the build version installed in the unit.

Could you also describe a bit more about the issue you’re experiencing with the TPM? For instance:

  • Are you seeing a specific error message in Windows Security or Device Manager?
  • Is the system failing a Windows 11 compatibility check?

With the product number and a clearer picture of the symptoms, I’ll be able to check whether a firmware update is available for your exact configuration
