Hi!

I am currently about to go to South Korea, and the voltage there is 220 compared to the US where it is 110. I just wanted to make sure that the charger than I have will be alright to take with me when I go, or if I should go get a voltage converter. My plane leaves on the 17th of February, so in about 6 days, so I would really like to know. If I don't get an answer soon, which I know I should have asked a long time ago, then I'll probably just get a converter to be safe. But, yes, I would like to know if my current charger will be sufficient enough to get me through South Korea's voltage change so I don't fry my laptop.

Thank you!

All you need is a physical plug adapter to use your AC adapter.

45 W HP Smart AC adapter (nPFC, RC, 3-wire, 4.5 mm) 741727-001

Charger Input: AC 100-240V, 50-60Hz Output: DC 19.5V 2.31A Power: 45W Connecter

So it will take anywhere from 100 to 240 volts in and still put out 19.5 volts to the laptop.

would this be the right converter, or do I have to get that converter off Amazon?
