Hello! I'm planning on upgrading my RAM to 16gb by buying 2 sticks of 8gb ram, the only problem is I don't know which mhz is suitable for my Hp 15-dy2xxx series laptop. I checked under the performance tab in the Task Manger and it says 3200 in the speed. Meanwhile when I checked my exact laptop model in the HP website, it says that my laptop uses 2666mhz ram. I also checked the kingston compatibility website and it says that on my laptop model the available options are all 2666mhz ram sticks. I'm just confused on why it's saying 3200mhz on my task manager

That is normal, 3200MHz will be automatically downgrade to 2666MHz.
Regards.
