Hello, I accidentally spilled tea in my laptop and it now cannot turn off no matter how long I hold the power button and it just shows a black screen. There was a time when it said there was no hardware installed. Is my laptop beyond repair??

Hi,

The notebook needs to completly dry out. (at least 24 hours)

I would take to shop to have the battery removed or if you need a guide let us know the complete model or product number

Liquid damage is hard to tell as it all depends where the liquid touches (so do not flip it around too much). After complete drying the notebook needs to be tested.

Hope it helps,

David
