Hi there,
Whenever I select a text and press Ctrl + b, the selected text and the text after the cursor rests gets deleted as well! Not only this, if I am typing in the middle of the sentence so the text before the cursor automatically starts deleting! It is very annoying and scary!
I took it to the HP service centre and the people there told me that either the keyboard is gone or the motherboard.
So I have the following questions:
1. How to fix it? I have tried the ins key issue. nothing worked
2. Does it look like a hardware issue? PLEASE HELP!!!!

@Divyani It’s annoying, and not to mention confusing when you type amendments only to see the next letter disappear, but the good news is it’s really easy to fix.
Simply tap the Insert button on the keyboard and this will make sure that each letter is inserted into the text rather than overtyping it.
The problem was caused by you accidentally tapping the Insert key in the first place. The Insert key is mostly used to switch between the two main modes of entering text on a computer,
Overtype Mode is where the cursor, when typing, overwrites any text that is present on and after its current location. Insert mode is where the cursor inserts characters at its current position between two other characters. It's all too easy to accidentally hit the Insert key when you're typing!
