Product: HP Pavilion x360 14 Convertible PC 14-dy1000 (436S6AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
I purchased HP Laptop Pavillion X360 ( i5, 16GB), two in one, last week (25.01.2022). The specification says the audio socket (Headphone+Mic) is 3.5mm, but, when I tried to plug in a 3.5mm jack ( 4 rings), it did not get into it. It appears that the socket size is not 3.5mm. I also tried 2.5mm jack, it is loose. Incidentally, the same jack is perfectly fitting into HP Desktop.
What can be the issue? I raised a ticket to HP support. Awaiting for response.
Is it some special size socket or manufacturing issue ( on the casing ), that is preventing 3.5mm jack to go inside.
