Product: HP EliteBook 8560p Base Model Notebook PC

I'm in the middle of a complete teardown in order to change the display cable (display panel cable) on an EliteBook 8560p (display panel upgrade from HD to FHD) and I am surprised by how many discrepancies and differences there are between the contents of the Maintenance and Service Guide and what I have in front of me on the bench. There are many "smaller errors" (such as screw quantities and locations) but there are also "bigger errors" (such as the system board removal procedure making no reference to needing to remove the function board first.)

 

Is this as good as it gets, or would it be worth my while searching through other similar models for a "more appropriate" hardware manual? TIA.
