Spectre x360 13
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,
the bottom cover/lid on my Spectre 13 x360 (13-ae008nc) popped off on the front right side. The notebook is working fine, but it's rather annoying. I'm unable to just pop it back in. And I didn't find any disassembly videos to find out what's in this area.
I'll be very thankful for any suggestions,
thanks!
Mikolas

Oh, thanks for the link!

Unfortunately, I do not have a Torx screwdriver, so I am unable to remove the lid.
However I doubt that the battery is swelling, the notebook is old 2 months old and I've witnessed no downgrade in battery lifetime.
I guess my best bet is to get a torx screwdriver or take this somewhere where they can take it apart, right?

I have seen batteries swell in less than 6 months.

Lenovo, Dell, Apple and others.

What is the 4th, 5th and 6th numbers of your serial number.

Only the 4th, 5th and 6th numbers.

8 =  The year: 2018

13 = The week:  March 26, 2018 - April 1, 2018

Your laptop was born March 26, 2018 - April 1, 2018

The battery was manufactured before that.

So the battery could be 18 - 24+  months old.
