The bottom panel of the laptop keeps popping open. The 2 screws are tight and keep it on, but the other end, the end closest to the screen, is where it's popping open. I've treated this laptop gingerly and have never dropped it. At first only the left side popped out occasionally but I could pop it back in. Now it's both sides, all the time, and it won't pop back in.
I'm not under warranty any more and can't even find a support phone #. Help! Thanks!

Without seeing it, I would guess the reason the case won't stay together is because the battery is swelling and putting too much stress on the screws that hold the case together.
If that is the case, the only fix is to replace the battery.

Bottom Case:
If the screws are stripped and cannot any longer keep the notebook closed, the appropriate repair would be to replace the case. Bottom cover information is on Page 29
