Thank you Steadfast1, I will let my customer know about turning off the gyroscope option.

 

It’s odd that HP would offer a BIOS update that specifically addresses a FAN problem. And that update implements an option to turn the fan ON always in the BIOS. And yet in that VERY same update they implement a feature that can NOT be disabled that limits the time the fan is on. So basically they give people the option to turn the fan on always but at the SAME time they limit how long the fan can be on. Which does not make any sense. But being a former employee of HP (Under Carly Fiorina, who sent our jobs OUTSIDE the USA) I have personally seen how poorly HP does with there software. And yes, I know BIOS is firmware not software. By the way the “Fan Always On” feature in the BiOS does NOT keep the fan on always and this issue is NOT due to a defective fan.
