With the recent updates to my laptop, I have now not a heater but an owen ( not omen 🙂 ).

Today I have watched some YouTube stream with an external display and the laptop is a speaker grill and the bottom side can't be touched and the funny thing no fan noise or spinning anywhere, so I decided to check the laptop and do some synthetic benchmarking and should I be shocked that the laptop didn't turn on any fan and if I rest my hands the palms are sweating?  The laptop is always plugged into the powercord.

I don't know what HP has done recently but they have done a good compromise with the fans being active when plugged in and acting a lot passive when the laptop was not charging.

Assuming I will not get any solution since the laptop is out of warranty, so just posting here because other people should know.

Thank you for the suggested help, however, the laptop was on the service before and no problems were found.

I went into the BIOS and enabled the option "Fans always on" or something similar which did help to start the fans.

As I'm working from home the laptop is constantly plugged in and I still see that after a couple of days where it is only locked and not restarted the fans stop and then I need to reboot the PC
