The right hinge of my HP laptop has failed and now the bottom of the laptop is prying open when I open or try to close the laptop. It is getting worse and worse. This was a very expensive laptop and I have always taken good care of it so this is very suprising for me. I think the plastic hinges were not a a great design for such a heavy screen/laptop.
