Are there any HP representatives on this forum. Or ordinary users?

I'm trying to talk to someone from HP technical support.

Hi @Odnowa

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the Keyboard issue.

Let's try these steps -

1) In Windows, search for and open Device Manager.
2) Double-click Keyboards.
3) Right click on the keyboard drivers and click on uninstall.
4) Restart the computer.

Also, try updating the computer -

Step 1 Windows Updates -

1) In the search box, type and open Windows Updates.

2) Check for updates.

3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Step 2 HP Support Assistant Updates -

1) In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.

2) Check for updates.

3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.

Hi @

It did nothing.

Thank you for your message. We would like to kindly inform you that the BIOS on laptops is very limited - in some models some options are available and in others not. The HP Pavilion Series laptops have the BIOS InsydeH2O, which does not have the Advanced / Advanced tab - all settings are only present in the System Configuration tab (in this model the BIOS device is limited and the user has no access to advanced settings) to solve this problem.

The only option is to consult HP technical support again and ask if there is access to advanced BIOS settings in the latest BIOS version.

Where can I find such a person?

@Odnowa

Appreciate you trying the steps.  I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding this issue.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Have a great day!
