How can I help the community when everyone is having the same problem and HP sends them an inbox message instead of telling us what to do in this forum.  Mine was not dropped either.  I don't know what I can offer.  Would you like for me to demonstrate how to help your customers?

I understand your HP notebook hinge assembly is separating from the unit, to fix this issue your computer needs to be repaired.
