Hi. Evey letter on the keyboard woks except the letter R . Nothing has fallen on the keyboard. Does this mean the beginning of the end of my laptop? Any help is appreciated. I have a HP 3YO54UA.

It means your keyboard is failing and needs to be replaced.  Is this still new enough to be under the original HP warranty?

It is not. I bought the laptop in the fall of 2021. I didn't think this would happen with it being a little over two years old. It is the only letter that is not working. I know nothing spilled on it. I guess my next laptop will NOT be an HP.

OK, since it's not under warranty, the means you would have to pay to have the keyboard replaced -- and with modern laptops this is a labor-intensive and expensive procedure.
