Hi @Shreyas21, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Since you've already replaced the motherboard and the issue persists, let's go through a systematic approach to diagnose and potentially fix the problem.

Identify the Blink Pattern

HP laptops use specific blink codes to indicate hardware failures.

  • Count the number of blinks in a sequence (e.g., 2 long + 3 short blinks).
  • Check the HP blink code chart for corresponding errors.

Perform a Hard Reset

  1. Disconnect all peripherals (USB devices, external monitors, etc.).
  2. Unplug the power adapter.
  3. Press and hold the power button for 30-60 seconds.
  4. Reconnect the power adapter and try turning it on.

Check Display Output

  1. Connect an external monitor via HDMI/DisplayPort.
  2. If you see an output, the built-in display or cable might be faulty.
  3. If there’s no output, press Windows + Ctrl + Shift + B to refresh the display driver.

Check RAM & SSD

  1. If you have two RAM sticks, remove one and test each stick individually.
  2. If possible, reseat the SSD or try booting without it.

Check for BIOS Recovery

  1. Hold Win + B, then press and hold the power button for 5-10 seconds.
  2. Release the power button but keep holding Win + B until you hear beeps or see the BIOS recovery screen.

Power Adapter & Battery Check

  • Test with a different charger (even if the current one seems fine).
  • If the battery is removable, try booting with only the AC adapter connected.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
