Pavilion x360

It started with me getting a black screen and I  got an error about the bios.  I researched and did the  HP things to put  a new bios on a thumb drive. Started up the laptop and it worked.... briefly. Now I'm getting :

Hard drive/SSD drive short DST check Failed  and,

The smart hard disk has detected an imminent failure.

Failure ID U32BG0-95DA6R-GXGJ2J-60SR03 Product ID 4AG18UA#ABA

How do I fix this? I tried following the instructions here -  https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01443502 but when it got to  Component  Test and to choose Hard Drive well  that is not an option that shows for me. I have  Processor, Memory, Storage, Power, Audio, Keyboard, Mouse/Touchpad, Network, System Board, Touch Screen, USB Port, Video, Webcam and  Back to main menu. No Hard Drive Option.  So what do I do? How do I fix this?

At one point I was given an option (after restarting my computer a zillion times) to "install windows".  I got out of that because  I wasn't sure what it meant  as I already have windows, so was this a way for the computer to try and repair itself? if I "install windows" the next time it comes up, will i lose word, excel and those types of programs if I let it install? I've already backed up  the files on my desktop and don't know if there is anything else I need to back up. Any advise is welcome. I'm not super computer tech savvy.
