The touchpad of my HP Chromebook 14 G5 has stopped working. After updating my Chrome OS to version 71.0.3578.127, after restart the touchpad is no longer working. I have tried the steps from Google Product Support on how to fix the touchpad issue, but it still persists after doing such procedures. I have also observed that the Touchpad option disappeared on the Settings application of the operating system.
