There is no BIOS update for Windows 11

Hello! I have a question, for a long time I have seen that my laptop has the option to upgrade to Windows 11, but the problem is that when I search for the BIOS update on the HP website, I see that there is no Windows 11 operating system to choose from, there is only a maximum of up to Windows 10 with build 22H, so does this mean that I cannot upgrade to Windows 11 because HP does not have the updated BIOS for Windows 11? Even though I did the HP test to see if my laptop met the requirements to upgrade to Windows 11 and it came out that it can. But my fear is that HP does not have the drivers and BIOS to update.

Unfortunately, no one will be able to answer your question.

Notebooks that meet Microsoft's hardware requirements that don't have W11 drivers on the support page may work just fine on W11, and they may not.

It's a case-by-case basis.

Your only options would be to:

1. Leave the notebook as is.

2. Upgrade it to W11 and you have 10 days to easily go back to W10 if things don't work right as long as you don't delete the Windows.old folder that will be created during the update process and the W11 upgrade files.

If you need drivers, you can try the W10 drivers.

So that should give you plenty of time to test drive W11.

If you want to update the BIOS, I would do that now while you have W10 installed.

After you upgrade to W11, you may be able to run the BIOS update files on W11.

I've never had an issue doing that and so have others, but again...that's on a case-by-case basis.

What works for the notebooks I have may not work for yours.
