I just bought a refurbished OMEN by HP - 17-an124cl and the heat is rising up fast. im also seeing a flash of Pink vertical stripes down the center every once in a while in games... I want to replace Thermal Paste AND Thermal Pads. Will this void my warranty? And what size of Thermal Pads do they use? Or should I send it in for repair?
Thank you all!

Since Thermal Paste and Pads are not considered as customer replaceable parts, doing so will void the warranty.
If you are facing any issues with your Notebook, I suggest you contact HP Support for Service Options

If the Notebook still has warranty, it is recommended to get the Notebook serviced by HP if needed.
If the Notebook is overheating alot, you can try upgrading the graphics card drivers and the BIOS from this Link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers
Thank you 😊

Thanks for some input! The drivers and BIOS are both up to date. But if I have a 2 year warranty, Do you know if changing the thermal paste and pads will void this? 2 years is a long time for my liking to not change it out..
