Hi,
i would like to test if my thermal sensor is working correctly. I have broke the black plastic to block the tablecloth. Stress test is good for see the temperature and the fan speed ?

Hi,
Most likely the sensor is working correctly. You can use a stress test such as AIDA64 extreme to see the temps of the machine. You will also probably be able to see the throttling of the CPU once it gets too hot.
Do you have any problem with the PC?
Let me know,
David

hi, the fans shift well and the processor heats up to around 75 degrees when I use OCCT for 15minutes. The pc does not turn off. I specify that I have to disassemble the PC to change the thermal paste and the battery. Are the temperatures normal? and is the thermal sensor just used to change the speed of the fans?

Maxime

Hi Maxime,
75° for a CPU under constant stress is nothing to worry about. What are the temps when not under stress?
You do not specify the exact model or series your notebook is (there are more than one 13-af series
When you say you have broke the plastic, what do you mean.
In any case if the CPU overheats, throttling will occur and then finally shutdown would occur.
Hope it helps,
David

Hello, thank you for your response. I'm talking about the little black clips that keep the cable stuck in the connector. During disassembly, a colored sticker was on it. So I did not see and very gently pulled the motherboard and it came with it.
About the model, it is a 13-af000nf product reference 2PF91EA. I tell you the temperatures in the hours which follow I do not have the pc near me.
here is a picture. it's circled in red

Maxime
