Just an FYI post for posterity....NOT seeking help or "Solutions" ๐Ÿ™„.... hopefully this Support site post will show up if others search web for max Ram upgrade info on this model....

 

They said it couldn't be done ! ๐Ÿ™‚...HP, Micron, every memory upgrade database....said this single SoDimm slot HP X360 15M-BP1xx laptop with 4gig soldered to the motherboard maxed out at 16 Gig in the plug-in slot and wouldn't take more, for a max total of 20gig of RAM...

....but my Intel chipset and CPU research said this Intel i5 8250U motherboard with Kaby Lake/Coffee Lake chipset should support 32 gig, possibly up to 64 gig....so I took an educated gamble, updated to latest/last BIOS F.52 and ordered a 32Gig Micron DDR4 stick for my single SoDimm slot....plugged it in, and it powered right up !, no BIOS memory error beeps....booted right up to Windows 11....then rebooted off USB Flash drive into MemTest86+ and of course this best on the market Crucial 32gig ram passed 100%...now running a total of 36gig ! ๐Ÿ™‚โ˜˜๏ธ๐Ÿฅณ
