Hi,
Is it safe to use a 90W 3rd party charger on my HP Spectre X360 13" that is only 65W?
The 3rd party charge I'm considering is this https://batpower.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=126
I'm considering it because it will reduce the amount of accessories I bring when I travel. It does have a 65W variant, but I would like to buy the 90W in case I upgrade my laptop in the future.

Hi@RedLibra, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
The laptop will only draw the current it needs so you will not fry anything. You can use an adapter with more amps and the same voltage and the same physical connection without any problems. It will even charge the battery faster. However, please give the HP Part numbers of the 90W charger you propose to use. Before I tell you it's OK I want to be sure it is the same connector and voltage as the specific 65w adapter recommended for your laptop.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
