Why did my HP Spectre x360 suddenly stop recognizing the 3rd Party charger I have been using? If this is DRM of the charger being randomly enforced on my HP to "protect" my battery, please stop.  It would be laughable for HP to protect my battery since I had to replace it on my own after the original went bad despite being charged by an HP charger the whole time before that time.

@mfish1977

I presume the question is rhetorical -- because we can not possibly tell you why a piece of non-HP equipment suddenly stopped working.

As to the battery going bad, we are not permitted here to comment on HP equipment, so if you want to take that up with HP yourself, you will have to do that on your own.

Thank you for taking the time to reply, I do appreciate it.  I guess I don't understand the comment/reply.  If we are not permitted to comment on HP equipment in an HP hardware forum, then where do we make those comments.  My battery had a swelling issue even after never using a charger other than an HP charger.  I did not figure out the issue until after the warranty expired, and HP was far from helpful on the battery issue when I did contact. Not even remotely helpful. That is a separate issue from the 3rd party charger not working with an HP.  I figured out the issue, and it was an issue on my end. That does not mean that I can mark your reply as helpful or the problem solved. Thanks anyways.
