Thunderbolt 3 Dock HP

Just got this HP Elite Thunderbolt 3 Dock/HP ZBook ThunderBolt 3 Dock for HP ZBook Studio G4. Using same powersupply it comes with Docking stations. 

Trying to upgrade firmware, and it is not finding docking stations. Please attach the computer to the docking sation to proceed... and check prerequisites are greyed out.

Having the same problem!

And also usb ports are only having power and no device can be detected!

You may need to go into the BIOS and look for Thunderbolt security settings and turn them off.

I have "no security" set in BIOS so that's not the problem. For info: VGA port is working fine.

On model EliteBook 102. I setup in bios PCIe and DisplayPort – No Security. Reboot install firmware, works fine.

On Model HP ZBook Studio G4, there is no option to change?

Thanks for the screenshot @arif_usman. I have a similar setting in my Zbook 15 G3, which needed to be adjusted to use a Tbolt dock. I can try to find a BIOS emulator for the Studio G4 but I am pretty sure its BIOS also have such an option.

If you Uncheck 'Require BIOS PW to change TBT SL' then go to the Thnunderbolt Security Level dropdown menu, PCIe and Displayport - No Security will be available.
