Spectre X360 13"
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, just purchased a Spectre X360 13" with 2 thunderbolt USB C connectors.

I have a Dell WD15 dock and two Dell monitors but the HP will not find it.

Laptop makes the connection and disconnect noise continually when plugged in and will only charge through it.

Device manager shows it up as generic high speed dock. Nothing in the thunderbolt app.

I've seen solutions recommending to change Bios setting for thunderbolt security and have discovered HP lock the advance tab. (hugely annoying)

Cheers

Are you sure they are COMPATIBLE ? I would not mix vendors for expensive devices. Please do not change anything on your machine, this would make things harder to fix later.

Yes, people are using dell WD15 with other brand laptops.

Also from dell site, its compatible with laptops with USBc alternate display port and thunderbolt 3
