I have connected my BenQ monitor via the Thunderbolt port. The device works OK but when I switch off my computer, the following morning there is no signal on the port. I have tried everything that I can think of, including changing cables and referring to BenQ support. It is really frustrating that I have to hard reset the PC to be able to use the monitor (after a hard reset it is OK but until the following morning). Any ideas what can the issue be?

I have always used a discrete video card and have never experienced an issue like the one you describe.
I would suspect a graphics driver issue. I suggest that you use the USB Type-C Thunderbolt PD port.
If you want the problem to go away, install a video card with an HDMI output.
The ArcticU motherboard in your PC does have a PCI Express 5.0 x16 lanes.
The default PSU is at least 500W.
Verify how many and what type of PCIe PSU connectors are present for connecting to a video card.

Many thanks. I already have a discrete card with 3DP and one HDMI ports (RTX 3060) . I bought this PC on the basis that I can use the Thunderbolt/USBc port. This is much better for the monitor. I do believe though that it is the onboard card that is causing the problem. What is really frustrating is that the problem is very intermittent rather than a constant issue. I hope that HP have an answer to this.

You are better off using the HDMI graphics with the RTX 3060 discrete video card, that is if you want the display issue to go away.
That was how the graphics solution in the desktop PC that you purchased, specifically the RTX 3060 video card, was meant to be used.
