HP Spectre x360 - 15-ch025nd
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi guys,

I'm having a very annoying issue with my spectre. Both thunderbolt ports are not working. They work as USB-C (when i plugin my phone it detects it and windows shows a popup on what to do with the new device) which is great however when I plugin a dock (HP, Belkin) then nothing. It doesn't charge, it doesn't detect the devices attached to the dock, nothing.

I've check the compatibility with thunderbolt and the docks are both shown there. I currently have a Belkin Thunderbolt 3 dock attached but can't get it to work.

I've tried:

- Shutdown, hold power button for 5, 15 and 30 seconds

- Shutdown, hold windows + b +15 seconds

- Booting with the dock attached

- Attaching dock after windows starting.

I've run out of options, any idea would be apprieciated.

Ah yes, one more thing, when I plug it in, windows does play the sound of 'new device plugged in' but that's it.
