HP ENVY x360 Laptop - 13-ay0001nc
Microsoft Windows 11

Greetings,

I've been having trouble using my HP Tilt pen on my laptop. It doesn't work on the screen without being plugged in. The pen itself is charged, when it's connected, the LED is solid white. When it's plugged in, the pen works normally.

This is the pen I have, it came with the laptop: Link

I've never used the pen, so I do not know if it worked when I bought the laptop (about a year and a half ago).

Thanks in advance for any help

Hi@medovinka,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing Pen issues with the HP ENVY X360 Laptop. I apologize for the Inconvenience.

I have a few recommendations

  • Try with an alternate USB-C cable and charge the Pen.
  • If issue persist then try replacing the HP Pen.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

I have tried with three different USB cables and still nothing.

Is the pen covered under the warranty?

Thank you for responding, I appreciate your time and effort.

HP Pen may be covered under the warranty. As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now. I would request you to contact our HP Support Engineers and should be able to sort this out.
