Timer for backlit keyboard

I just purchased this laptop and would like to extend the timer for the backlit keyboard.  Right now, it shuts off after about 5 seconds.  I don't have the Advanced BIOS feature available so I'm wondering if there is a registry setting to change instead.

As I stated in my post, this laptop does not have the Advanced BIOS utility so this solution does not work for me.

If not have in BIOS, the possibility of increase the time backlighting, IMHO your notebook, not have this option's and today not have too, the User Guide, por explained this.

I'm sorry, I don't know what IMHO means.  are you telling me there is no way to increase the timer?
