hello! so i have a HP Laptop 15s-eq2163AU and my storage only has 256 gb ssd. I am planning to upgrade it with a higher storage since it's already full. I'm gonna bring it to a IT specialist this weekend.
what should i do? what back ups should i do? do i only back up the files or what? give some tips!

I would backup everything that was important to me. All documents, photos and videos.
What is in a backup is different for everyone.
Your laptop is compatible with PCIe, NVMe Gen 3 and SATA-3 SSD. Up to 2TB in storage capacity.
My own preference is Samsung 970 EVO Plus NVMe. I have two of them in my desktop PC.
